Alder Room
A bedroom suite added to a 1960s house, opening onto the garden through a wall of black-framed doors.
The owners wanted a bedroom on the garden level, away from the rest of the house. We built a single-storey extension with an ensuite, a dressing area and doors that fold right back.
Materials are kept soft: pale oak, linen curtains, and a marble and timber bathroom lit from a tall side window.
